Eligible employees of Washington Unified School District are offered a comprehensive benefits package. These benefits include medical, dental, vision, section 125 reimbursement accounts and life insurance coverage. The District's contribution for benefits are determined by your applicable bargaining unit.
New Employees
New employees must enroll within 30 days of the date of hire. If an employee does not enroll during the first 30 days, her/his next opportunity to enroll will be during annual open enrollment period.
Change in Status/Dependents
If you have a qualifying event, such as marriage, birth, divorce, change in employment status, etc,. You only have 30 DAYS from the date of the event to make changes to your medical plan, dental plan or your section 125 reimbursement account.
